Attitude of Gratitude

Attitude of Gratitude
by: Pastor Ryan Scheibel

Psalm 100:4, “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him and bless His name.”

We should be grateful and thankful and praise God for what He has provided in our lives!
Colossians 4:2, “Continue earnestly in prayer with thanksgiving.”

We easily forget what God has done and our focus easily gets off of Jesus and onto our problems and we get discouraged.

When you look at the cross, what symbol is it in the shape of? It’s a positive addition symbol because God coming to save us is good news! It’s the most positive news you could ever hear! And you gain so many blessings if you receive the good news of Jesus!
9 out of the 10 Lepers didn’t give God thanks! Jesus missed the nine who did not return to give thanks. He wondered where they were. The 10 Lepers lives were forever changed by Jesus, but 9 couldn’t find the time or make the effort to express their praise and thankfulness to God for what He did.

We were created to give glory and thanks to God. It is the highest use of our vocal cords, mouth, and lips! We need to give God what He deserves and that is glory, appreciation and thanks!

Psalm 106:1, “Praise the Lord! Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!”

God has blessed us far more than we realize and far more than we deserve! The only proper response is for us to have a thankful heart to God!
