1 Samuel 17:37, “Moreover David said, ‘The Lord, who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.’ And Saul said to David, ‘Go, and the Lord be with you!’”
Here’s what I love about David. He based his present faith on his past victory. I’ve seen the Lord move in my life, King Saul. I’ve watched God work before. He delivered me out of some pretty nasty situations with a lion and a bear. David saw Goliath just as another animal attacking God’s flock!
1 Thessalonians 5:24 “ He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.”
