Righteous by Faith

Romans 3:21-24 NKJV
But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.
The next coming Fridays, I am going to be walking through Romans, giving you the good news.
Today, we look at the mind blowing revelation of how much Jesus changed things for the better for us by sacrificing His life in our place.
Throughout the old testament, scripture pointed to the coming of Jesus and to this fantastic time of our deliverance. These verses explain the benefit for all of mankind. NOT saved by our works, which was actually impossible, but saved simply by faith in Jesus because of His ultimate sacrifice for all of sin, past, present and future.
Jesus took it ALL with Him when they nailed Him on the cross. All the pain and suffering and ultimate humiliation was not for anything He had done, but for all that we have done, do currently and will do. He was the spotless Lamb, sacrificed once and for all, because of us and our sin.
Now, that is true love!
